Safety Notes

Read carefully

Do not attempt installation while the range is on or connected to gas without first confirming all burners are off.

Ensure the gas valve shaft is fully free of debris before reattaching the knob.

If the knob does not depress or turn smoothly after installation, remove the knob and re-examine the bezel alignment and shaft for obstructions before operating the range.

This product is intended for stem replacement only — it does not replace the full knob assembly.

Installation

8 steps
1

Remove the broken stem from the knob

Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws securing the stem inside the knob. Remove the broken stem.

2

Install the replacement stem

Seat the GODMADE™ replacement stem into the knob backing and secure it with the two screws.

Ensure stem slot is aligned with the knob block
3

Remove the knob bezel from the range

Unscrew the two screws securing the knob bezel to the range and set it aside.

4

Inspect the gas valve shaft

Visually inspect the gas valve shaft to ensure it is clear of any leftover D-spring fragments. When a stem breaks, a D-spring can remain on the shaft and will prevent the knob from depressing and turning properly. Remove any fragments before proceeding. Pliers may be helpful for this step.

5

Reattach and center the knob bezel

Reattach the knob bezel to the range and ensure it is properly centered on the gas valve shaft. A misaligned bezel will block or create friction with the knob, preventing proper depression and turning.

Secure with two screws, centered on the gas valve shaft
6

Attach the knob

With the bezel secured and centered, slide the knob and replacement stem onto the gas valve shaft.

7

Test operation

Fully depress the knob and rotate it to verify smooth, proper operation before use.
